For First Time in 2011, Full Attendance at Practice

Brian Dawkins

DAWKINS: ... back from a neck strain incurred against San Diego.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Every practice day since the lockout ended, someone on the active roster has not taken part because of injury … until Wednesday.

Safety Brian Dawkins’s return from a neck strain meant that every player on the Broncos’ 53-man roster plus their eight-man practice squad took part. That hasn’t happened for the Broncos since Dec. 24, 2010 — two days before a 24-23 win over the Houston Texans.

The full complement of players included wide receiver D’Andre Goodwin, who re-joined the practice squad Wednesday morning. Goodwin took the spot of Eron Riley, who was signed by the New York Jets to their active roster.

Safety Rafael Bush also practiced Wednesday after being claimed off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad; he was issued jersey number 36.

New practice-squad defensive tackle Sealver Siliga also made his debut, wearing jersey number 93.

  1. Good news indeed for the Dolphins, the long pass will be available all day for them. If only they had Orton to sling the deep ball…ah well
