How Will the Broncos Adapt to Pending Suspensions?

D.J. Williams

What do the Broncos do with D.J. Williams at training camp?

Will the Broncos give D.J. Williams first-team repetitions at training camp? Or will they hand them to Wesley Woodyard, knowing that Williams will miss six games because of a PED suspension — and more if he’s convicted of a DUI charge?

And what will the Broncos do with tight end Virgil Green? He needs the reps, but he’ll be out for four games because of a suspension. If Julius Thomas has fully healed from his ankle injury, the Broncos will need to focus on getting him up to speed after missing all of OTAs and minicamp.

I touch on these subjects in a piece on CBSSports.com.
